Proshkin Viktor Nikolaevich (1906, Oboyan-1983, Leningrad).

In 1924 -1930. Studied at VKHUTEIN in the workshop of Professor A.E. Kareev. Thesis “In the Shop.” In the same year, together with his artist wife V.M. Belakovskaya, he went on a creative trip to the construction of the Kharkov Tractor Plant. A series of paintings and graphic works were created. In 1932, he was a founding member of the Leningrad organization of the Union of Artists (LOSKh). In 1934-38. regional artist of the Nevsky district of the city. From 1957 to 1981 Head of the Department of General Painting at Leningrad Higher Art Pedagogical University (professor since 1967). In subsequent years, he continues to work as a consulting professor.
