Pushkarev Prokofiy Egorovich (1821-1856).

Pushkarev P.S. one of the Russian artists of the 19th century who chose portraiture as the direction of his work. The artist’s works are characterized by deep psychologism in the depiction of people. As a child, he attended a drawing school, and subsequently, from 1845, became a free student at the Academy of Arts. The artist’s paintings are kept in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum and in many regional museums.
