Pushnin Alexander Tikhonovich (1921, Morshansk, Tambov province - 1991).

In 1950 he graduated from the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I.E. Repin from the workshop of R. Frenz and A. Gerasimov. Participant in exhibitions of Leningrad artists since 1948. Member of the Leningrad Union of Artists since 1950. Candidate of Art History (1952). Professor of LIZHSA named after I.E. Repin (1986). The artist’s personal exhibition took place in 1982 in Leningrad. The works are in the State Russian Museum and in many regional museums.
