Russian and Soviet art critic, artist, illustrator, teacher. In 1911 he graduated from the Academy of Arts, where he studied with D. N. Kardovsky and E. Lanceray. Since 1912, he collaborated with the Apollo magazine and the New Satyricon, covering events in the cultural life of Europe and the USA. In 1917 he created the Society of Painters of St. Luke, and later became a professor at the Institute of Art History. In the 1920s, Radlov became interested in satirical graphics. Collaborated with the magazines “Begemot”, “Smekhach”, “Crocodile”. With the beginning of the Second World War, he initiated TASS Windows and himself produced about 40 posters, which were published in the Front-line Humor magazine.
