Painter, teacher. Member of the Union of Artists of the RSFSR. Participant of exhibitions since 1959. In 1959 she graduated from the institute in the workshop of B.V. Ioganson. Thesis work - the painting “White Nights”. Since 1972, he has been a member of the Eleven group together with her husband, artist German Yegoshin. She worked primarily in the genre of landscape, still life, and interior. Valentina Rakhina's personal exhibition took place in 1985 in the halls of the Leningrad Union of Artists. The works of Valentina Ivanovna Rakhina are in museums and private collections in Russia, the USA, Japan, Belgium, Switzerland, France and other countries.
