Sculptor, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. He created works in the genre of easel, monumental and portrait sculpture. In collaboration with Donetsk architects, he made many tombstones and monuments to soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War. The most significant work is the monument “Glory to Miners’ Labor,” on which the sculptor worked from 1964 to 1967 together with the architect Pavel Vigdergauz. The monument became the “calling card” of Donetsk.
