Repkin Petr Petrovich (1914, Moscow – 1995, Moscow).

Honored Artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Graphic artist. He was one of the galaxy of prominent Soviet artists who worked for the younger generation (V. Suteev, T. Mavrina, V. Vatagin, etc.). Member of the Union of Cinematographers of the USSR. Author of drawings for two hundred cartoons: “The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish” (1950), “The Adventures of Pinocchio” (1959), “Mowgli” (1973), “The Little Flower of Seven Flowers,” “The Little Humpbacked Horse,” “An Unusual Match,” etc. He designed about a hundred books for children at the publishing houses “Malysh” and “Children’s Literature,” including the creation drawings for the famous fairy tale by Wilhelm Hauff "The Caliph the Stork". Author of drawings for the filmstrips “Two Greedy Little Bears”, “Cat-Grey Brow, Goat and Ram”, “Sparrow”, “Puppy”, “Stories about the Hamster Khoma”. Participant of all-Union and international exhibitions.
