Romashkov Yuri Iosifovich (1929, Penza - 1998).

Honored Artist of Russia. Member of the Union of Artists (since 1967). Studied at the Penza Art School (1944-49) with M. E. Valukin, A. I. Postnov, N. K. Krasnov; then at the Moscow Art Institute. In I. Surikov (1956–62) with D.K. Mochalsky. The artist's works are in the Penza Art Gallery, as well as in private collections.
