Rudnev Leonid Ivanovich

Honored Artist of Russia. Genus. in the village of Nizhne-Ozernaya, Shchigrovsky district. He graduated from the Kursk Art and Graphic School in 1957 and the Kharkov Art Institute in 1963. He studied with A. M. Konstantinopolsky and S. F. Besedin. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1968. Participant of all-Union, republican, zonal, regional, and foreign exhibitions. Solo exhibitions: 1968, 1978, 1988 (Kursk), 1991, 1992, 1994, 1995, 1996 (Speyer, Germany). Main works: "Gas Station" (1967), "The Village is Under Construction" (1967), "Fog" (1968), "Collective Farm Yard" (1969), "Spring" (1970), "Spring in the Village" (1977), "Non-Black Earth Land", "Workdays" (1980), "At the Cordon" (1984), "U source of the Angara" (1996). Awarded a diploma of the USSR Academy of Arts. R.'s works are in the Kursk Regional Art Gallery named after. A. A.
