Soviet artist, painter. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. In 1941 - 1947 he studied at the Odessa Art School named after M.B. Grekov, then graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I.E. Repina. Since the 1950s, he has participated in republican and all-Union exhibitions. He worked in Stalingrad and Odessa. Since 1958, he taught at the Odessa Art School, and from 1966 to 1972 he was the head of the department of fine arts of the art and graphic faculty of the Odessa State Pedagogical Institute named after K. D. Ushinsky. The author's works are in museum collections and private collections in Russia and abroad.
