Painter. He worked in the genres of landscape, portrait, and subject composition. The artist follows the traditions of Russian realistic art. He studied at the Sverdlovsk Art School (1962-1967) in the painting department. Beginning of creative work in 1967. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1990. After graduation, he came to the Arctic, worked in the Vorkuta workshops of the Komi branch of the Art Fund of the RSFSR. Participant of exhibitions since 1969. In 1971 he moved to Syktyvkar. The main theme of creativity is modern life in the Far North. As part of creative groups, he visited Vuktyl, Pechora, Usogorsk, and Usinsk. The artist's works are in many regional museums and private collections in Russia, Germany, and the USA.
