Honored Artist of the RSFSR. She studied in St. Petersburg in the studio of Ya.F. Tsionglinsky (1910-1912) and at the Academy of Arts (1912-1918 and 1921-1923) with D.N. Kardovsky. During the Civil War, she worked on propaganda posters for the newspaper. Since 1923 she lived in Moscow. Member of the AHRR since 1924. Master of thematic paintings typical of socialist realism, dedicated to Soviet workers. Traveled a lot around the country. She also painted portraits, landscapes, and still lifes. The artist became famous for her painting “Everything Higher!” (1934, Kyiv Museum of Russian Art). The artist’s works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, and the Kiev Museum of Russian Art.
