Ryklin Vladimir Mikhailovich

Ryklin Vladimir Mikhailovich (born in Moscow in 1934)

Soviet and American graphic artist and poster designer. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. In 1960, he graduated from the Moscow Regional Art Pedagogical College of Fine Arts in Memory of the 1905 Uprising. He worked in the fields of circus posters, industrial graphics, and book illustration. In 1976, he emigrated to the United States as part of a group of renowned avant-garde Soviet artists and sculptors (including Ernst Neizvestny, Mikhail Shemyakin, and others). He created numerous posters for the Vienna State Opera, the New York Ballet, and the Moscow Circus. He has participated in group and solo exhibitions in the United States, Canada, Poland, England, and Belgium. His works are represented in private collections worldwide, as well as in museums and permanent gallery collections.
