Sakharov Alexander Alekseevich - painter, landscape painter. In 1883 he was listed as a free student at the Academy of Arts. Before entering the Academy of Arts, he worked in the workshop of I. Aivazovsky. In 1884, his drawing “View of the Kronstadt fortifications” was published in the Niva magazine. The artist became widely known in the Far East as a marine painter. He worked on the Shantar Islands, Blagoveshchensk, Khabarovsk, Port Arthur. He painted both landscapes and military-historical paintings. In June 1904, an exhibition of works by A.A. Sakharov took place in Vladivostok.
