Russian landscape artist, founding member of the Association of Itinerants, academician of the Imperial Academy of Arts. In 1871 - 1875, Savrasov participated in the exhibitions of the Association of Traveling Art Exhibitions. Savrasov's paintings were exhibited at world exhibitions - Vienna in 1873 and Paris in 1878, and at the All-Russian Exhibition in Moscow in 1882. Paintings by A.K. Savrasov are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum and other leading art collections.
