Soviet graphic artist, illustrator, writer. Member of the Leningrad organization of the Union of Artists of the RSFSR (LOSKh). Honored Cultural Worker of the RSFSR. Semyonov collaborated with the magazines “Chizh”, “Young Proletarian”, “Red Navy”, “Border Guard”, “Rezec”, “Around the World” and others. In 1947–1948, he made illustrations and designed books: “Notes of a Hunter” by I. S. Turgenev, “The Crossing” by M. A. Dudin, “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” by G. Beecher Stowe.
