Sergeev Nikolai Alexandrovich (1855−1919)

He studied at the Imperial Academy of Arts with L. Lagorio. In the eighties of the 19th century, the artist wrote a lot, participated in exhibitions at the Academy of Arts, and did a lot of work to promote fine art in the depths of the country. Artistic and social activities of N.A. Sergeev was appreciated: in 1887 he received the title of honorary free fellow of the Academy of Arts, in 1889 he was awarded the Order of St. Stanislav, 3rd degree, to encourage activity in the artistic field. In 1910 N.A. Sergeev became an academician of landscape painting. He introduced elements of the genre into landscapes. One of the works is kept in the State Russian Museum.
