Sevostyanov Gennady Kirillovich

Painter and graphic artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR, Honored Artist of the RSFSR, People's Artist of the Russian Federation, Laureate of State Prizes of the USSR, Diploma holder of the Russian Academy of Arts. Graduated from the Moscow State Art School named after V.I. Surikov (1971), a competition for work was held at the Studio of Military Artists named after M.B. Grekova. Since 1967 he has taken part in art exhibitions; a personal exhibition took place in Moscow (1988).  He was awarded the “Worthy” medal and a diploma from the Russian Academy of Arts. Famous works: “In the Volga steppes”, “Soldier’s morning” (1972), “Youth of the fathers” (1974), “In the native circle” (1974), “Among relatives” (1975), “Serve the Motherland, son!” (1982), “Fulfilling International Duty.” The artist's works are in private and public collections in Russia and other countries.
