Skobeev Valery Nikolaevich

Born in 1938. After graduating from the Kazan Art School, he entered the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I.E.Repina. He studied in the workshop of painting professor E.E. Moiseenko. Graduated from the institute with honors. In 1970 he returned to Kazan.
His work develops in the sphere of plot-thematic painting, which requires large-scale thinking, a deep philosophical analysis of life, versatility of talent, a heightened sense of composition, and harmonious color constructions. The artist’s paintings are published in many printed publications of the Republic of Tatarstan and Russia, and are in the largest museums in Russia, the Volga region, Moscow, in the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan and its branches, in the M. Jalil Museum, in foreign collections: America, Canada, Israel, France, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic; are the property of banks and institutions of the Republic, as well as private collectors.
