Soviet artist, graphic artist, poster artist. Since 1967, member of the Union of Artists. He graduated from the Kazan Art School and entered the Moscow State Art Institute. V.I. Surikov, where he studied in the poster workshop of M.M. Cheremnykh and N.A. Ponomareva. Since 1959, he has participated in republican, all-Union and foreign exhibitions of easel graphics. In the 1960s he taught at the Kazan Art School and at the Smolensk Pedagogical Institute at the Faculty of Art and Graphics. He worked a lot in the technique of color etching. The artist's works are kept in art museums in Russia, as well as in private collections abroad.
