Sokolova Olga Alexandrovna (1898 – 1991).

Painter, graphic artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. In 1916-1918 she studied at Moscow State University in the department of philosophy and art history with B. Vipper, A. Sidorov, in 1918-26 - at the Moscow VKHUTEMAS - VKHUTEIN with A. Drevin, I. Mashkov, N. Udaltsova, A. Shevchenko. Since 1929 – participant of exhibitions. In 1928–1930, he was a member of the artistic association “Rost”. The works of O. A. Sokolova are stored in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the Museum of Arts of Karakalpakstan named after I. V. Savitsky in Nukus, and in private collections.
