Solodkov Alexey Matveevich

Russian painter. He studied at the Stroganov Art School (1910s), at the School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in Moscow. In the 1920s - member of the Academy of Reconstruction and Reconstruction of Russia. He traveled around Russia with artels of artists, painting church churches. Since 1918, he lived and worked in Kolomna, where he became one of the most respected and famous artists. In the 1930s, he created a series of historical paintings, which for a long time were on display at the Kolomna Local History Museum. His paintings were reproduced in books on the history of the city. A. Solodkov’s works are in the Kolomna Local History Museum and private collections.
