Soloviev Mikhail Mikhailovich

Honored Artist of the RSFSR. Poster artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Born in 1905 in Moscow. Graduated from the Higher Courses of the AKhR (Association of Artists of the Revolution) (1930). Studied with I. I. Mashkov, P. P. Sokolov-Skal. He began his creative activity as a painter. During the war years he actively collaborated with TASS Windows. Since the post-war years, he has been working in political posters. His posters were published successively in Izogiz, the publishing houses “Fine Arts”, “Plakat”. Constantly collaborates with Agitplakat. Participant of republican, all-Union, foreign art exhibitions. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1933.
