Solovyova Galina Sergeevna. Painter, graphic artist, theater artist. She studied at the experimental demonstration secondary school named after. Decembrists. (1919-1925) at the theater and decoration department of the Moscow Moscow Art Theater (1926-1932) with V. N. Baksheev. She worked as an artist's assistant under the direction of Yu. A. Zavadsky (1932-1933). During the war, she headed a team of artists for the construction of defense structures and published the bulletin “Reports from the Front.” Worked at MTH (1941-1945). In 1943 she joined the Union of Artists. Made creative trips to the Donbass, to Zhdanov (1946-1950); in Kizhi-Solovki and Petrozavodsk (1961-1970). Since the late 1940s she has been illustrating books. In 1967 she received a diploma at the International Book Exhibition in Moscow (illustration of E. Permyak’s book “Memorable Knots”). Solo exhibitions: Ivanovo, Kineshma (1983).
