Sooster Yulo Ilmar Johannesovich (1924 - 1970).

Soviet Estonian artist and graphic artist, representative of the unofficial art of the USSR. He studied at the Pallas Higher Art School in Tartu (from 1943), then at the transformed Tartu Art Institute (graduated in 1949, workshop of E. Keats). Participated in the anniversary exhibition of the Moscow Art Museum in the Manege (1962, painting "The Eye in the Egg"), the first group exhibition abroad in Warsaw (1965), posthumous exhibitions: at the Museum of Fine Arts (Tartu, 1970), the Exhibition Hall of the Union of Artists (Tallinn, 1970), the State Art Museum (Tallinn, 1985), Central House of Artists (Moscow, 1989), Romanov Gallery (Moscow, 2006), Vellum Gallery (Moscow, 2011, 2024) and others. The works are presented in the State Tretyakov Gallery (Moscow, the work "Egg. Evolution", dar V. N. Nemukhin and the Moscow Government), the Tartu Art Museum ("The Eye in the Egg", 1962), the State Art Museum (Tallinn), the AZ Museum (Moscow), the Kolodzei Art Foundation (USA) and private collections in Russia, Estonia, the USA and other countries.
