Sorogin Gennady Pavlovich (1930-2004).

Honored Artist of the RSFSR. In 1956 he graduated from Moscow State Art Institute named after. V.I. Surikov, where he studied with outstanding masters of the Soviet era P.P. Sokolov-Skal and V.G. Tsyplakova. In 1981 in Moscow and in 2005 in Kolomna, personal exhibitions of Gennady Sorogin were held. The artist’s works are stored in the State Russian Museum, State Tretyakov Gallery.
