Sorokin Viktor Semenovich (1912, Moscow-2001).

Honored Artist of the RSFSR (since 1976). People's Artist of Russia (since 1991). Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (since 1946). Graduated from Moscow State Art Institute named after. V.I. Surikov. Personal exhibitions were held in 1994 at the LES OREADES gallery in France, in 1996, 1997, 2002. in Moscow, in 1973 in Yelets, 1987, 1992, 1997, 1999 in Lipetsk. In 1993, the Sorokin Museum “The Master’s House” was opened in Lipetsk.
