Spassky Konstantin Vasilyevich

Portrait artist, genre painter, graphic artist, illustrator, poster artist, teacher. In 1885-1895 he studied at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. During his studies, he received small silver medals: in 1892 for a sketch from life, in 1893 for a drawing from life. In 1895, he was awarded a large silver medal for his graduation work "Friend Teacher". In 1896, he received a certificate of graduation from MUSZhVZ, was recognized as a Non-Class Artist of Painting, and was awarded the right of Hereditary Honorary Citizen. In the 1910s and 1920s, he taught at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. The author's works are presented in museum and private collections in Russia and abroad.
