Soviet and Russian graphic artist, painter, one of the prominent book and easel graphic artists of St. Petersburg. Member of the Leningrad organization of the Union of Artists of the RSFSR (1955). Winner of the gold medal of the Academy of Arts (2003). Graduate of the Secondary Art School (1948) and the All-Russian Academy of Arts (1954). A regular participant in city, regional and all-Union exhibitions, exhibitions of easel and book graphics (more than 200) and several group foreign exhibitions (Germany, Italy, Mexico, Australia, England, France, USA, Holland), including six personal ones.
