Artist, graphic artist. She spent her youth in Moscow. In the 20s she studied at the T.L. Art School. Sukhotina-Tolstaya, visited the studios of K.F. Yuon and V.A Favorsky. In 1925 she went to France for treatment, and from 1926 she lived in Bulgaria. Until 1931 she studied at the Academy of Arts in Sofia, then in Brussels at the Higher School of Architecture and Decorative Arts. She worked as a draftsman in printing houses and advertising agencies. During the war she participated in the Resistance, was arrested, and since 1943 was kept in Saint-Gilles prison. From 1946 she lived in Nice, and in 1952 she moved to Paris. She was a member of the Parisian literary and artistic avant-garde. She worked in an abstract manner, incorporating Russian and French texts and relief collages into her painting. Since 1960 she has been engaged in engraving and creating handmade collectible books.
