Russian artist, graphic artist, poster artist, illustrator. In 1956 he graduated from the Academy of Arts of the Latvian SSR. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1961. Honored Artist of the RSFSR since 1992. Works in the publishing houses IZOGIZ, Fine Arts, Agitplakat, Soviet Artist, Poster-Panorama, Sanprosvet and DOSAAF. Illustrates children's books and educational literature for the publishing houses "Prosveshcheniye", "Drofa", "Malysh". In 1966, on a creative trip, he visited Vietnam during the period of hostilities and has since become the best specialist on the topic of heroic Vietnam. Awarded the Gold Medal at the International Health Education Poster Competition in Bologna, Italy. Since 1956, he has constantly exhibited his works at Moscow, All-Russian and international exhibitions. The works are stored in the Russian State Library, in the collections of regional museums, in private collections in Russia and abroad.
