Honored Artist of Russia. In 2005 he was awarded the Gold Medal of the Academy of Arts. Studied at the Moscow Textile Institute, at the Moscow State Art Institute named after. V.I. Surikov at V.V. Pochitalova. Participant of exhibitions and member of the Union of Artists since 1964. Regular participant in Moscow, republican, all-Union and foreign exhibitions. The artist’s personal exhibitions were held in 1987 at the Central House of Artists and in 1997 at the Academy of Arts. Author of thematic paintings, portraits, landscapes and still lifes. The artist’s works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the Museum of Modern Art of the Russian Academy of Arts, in the collections of more than 50 museums in Russia and the CIS countries, in private collections in Russia and abroad.
