Chaliapin Boris Fedorovich (1904, Moscow-1979, New York).

Painter and sculptor. Son of F.I. Chaliapin. He studied at the Moscow SVOMAS (1920-1923) and at the sculpture department of the Moscow VKHUTEMAS (1923-1925). In 1925 he went to France to live with his father and lived in Paris. Participant of exhibitions since 1927. In 1935 he moved with his father to the USA and lived in New York. Adherent of realistic art. Author of portraits of F.I. Chaliapin (including in roles), many figures of Russian art and culture. In 1968 he visited the USSR.
