Shatilov Boris Alekseevich (1905-2000).

Painter, graphic artist. He painted landscapes, still lifes, and genre scenes. Studied at the school-studio I.I. Mashkova. In 1928 he graduated from the painting department of art courses at the Academy of Arts. Participant of exhibitions since 1928. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1941. In 1941-45 worked at the publishing house "Pravda". In 1957-65 he taught at the Moscow Textile Institute. In the 1930s he worked together with S.Yu. Pimenov, in collaboration with him, created a panel for an international exhibition in New York; Shatilov’s personal exhibition was held in Moscow in 1953.
