Soviet painter. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1938). Chairman of the Board of the Yaroslavl Union of Artists (1943-1952). In 1933 he graduated from the Yaroslavl Art and Pedagogical College. Since the 1940s - participant in regional, zonal, republican and all-Union and international exhibitions. The author's works are in the collections of the State Russian Museum, in the A.V. Shchusev Museum of Architecture, in museum collections of Yaroslavl and the region, Kostroma, Perm, Orel, Krasnodar, Chelyabinsk, in many private collections.
