Shinkarev Vladimir Nikolaevich

In 1974 - 1977 he studied courses at the V.I. Institute. Mukhina and the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I.E.Repina. In 1977 he graduated from the Leningrad State Institute. Participates in apartment exhibitions of unofficial art since 1975. Since 1981 member of the Association of Experimental Art (TEII). One of the founders of the “Mitki” group, the author of literary works that have become cult, cementing the mythology of “Mitkiism.” Since 1991 member of the International Federation of Artists. Since 1994 member of the Union of Artists of Russia. Personal exhibition at the State Russian Museum (1999). Lives in St. Petersburg. The works are in ZM, the Victoria and Albert Museum (London), the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the State Hermitage, MMSI, the Museum of the History of St. Petersburg, and private collections.
