Shorin Nikolay Akimovich

Crimean painter. Landscape painter, master of still life. Born in 1924 in Feodosia. In 1936-1942. and in 1947-1949. – studied in the art studio at the art gallery named after. I.K. Aivazovsky from the artist N. Barsamov, K. Bogaevsky, P. Snitkin. Studio classmates: P. Stolyarenko, S. Mamchich, V. Sokolov, A. Lane. In 1941, he took part in the evacuation of works by I.K. Aivazovsky from the Feodosia Art Gallery. In 1953 - graduated from the Crimean Art College. N.S. Samokisha, painting and pedagogical department. He studied with V. Apanovich and V. Bernadsky. The development of his abilities was greatly influenced by the work of such artists as M. Vrubel, I. Mashkov, P. Konchalovsky, A. Kuprin, N. Barmasov, Cezan, Doren, Matisse. In 1953-1983. - taught at the Feodosia Children's Art School named after. I.K. Aivazovsky. Participant of republican, regional, regional, city exhibitions. Since 1989 - member of the National Union of Artists. Lived and worked in Feodosia. The works are in museum and private collections in Ukraine, near and far abroad. The author's work is most fully represented in the collection of the National Art Gallery. I.K. Aivazovsky (45 works). All the artist’s works are united by a joyful perception of light and a clearly expressed decorative principle.
