Shubina Galina Konstantinovna

Poster artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Born in Voronezh. Graduated from VKHUTEIN in Leningrad in 1928. She studied with V. M. Konashevich, D. I. Mitrokhin, N. E. Radlov, K. S. Petrov-Vodkin. Since 1929 she has participated in exhibitions. In the 1940s-1950s she worked in the field of posters for the publishing houses IZOGIZ and Gosizdat. In 1945, she took part in a closed competition for the best poster for the elections to the Supreme Soviet of the USSR. In 1948 he was awarded a 1st degree Diploma at the International Poster Exhibition in Vienna. In the 1970s she worked in easel graphics.
