Shuvalov Dmitry Alexandrovich (1932, Leningrad).

Leningrad siege survivor. In 1948-1953. studied at the Secondary Art School at the Academy of Arts with Andreev, Barabanshchikov, Kuznetsov. In 1953-1959 student of the Repin Institute, Department of Painting, teacher - People's Artist of the USSR, professor Evsey Evseevich Moiseenko. In 1959-1962. graduate student. From 1963 to the present he has been teaching at the St. Petersburg State Academy of Arts and Industry. Professor of the Department of Painting and Restoration. He trained many worthy professionals who achieved high positions in contemporary art. From 1959 to the present, he has taken part in more than fifty exhibitions at various levels, from teaching exhibitions at the Academy to international ones. In Germany alone, after 1991, six personal exhibitions of Shuvalov were held. Shuvalov's works are in collections in Russia, Germany, England, and Finland.
