Shuvalov Nikolai Vasilievich (1929, Kostroma - 1984, Kostroma).

Painter. He studied at the Kostroma Art School (1946 - 1949) with N.P. Shleina, M.S. Kolesov, in MIPIDI (1949 – 1953) with P.P. Sokolov - Skal, at the Leningrad Higher Art School (1954 - 1959) with P.D. Puchkin and G.A. Savinova. Member of the USSR Union of Artists since 1968. Personal exhibitions were held in 1957, 1966, 1968, 1971, 1972, 1980, 1984. The works are in museums in Kostroma, Tula, Novosibirsk and other cities.
