She studied at the Drawing School of the Society for the Promotion of Arts in St. Petersburg in (1908-1915) under I.Ya. Bilibin, N. Roerich, as well as at the Ranson Academy in Paris with F. Vallotton and M. Denis. During Soviet times, she worked on paintings of “propaganda porcelain”.
