Shchelokov Vyacheslav Gavrilovich

Honored Worker of Culture of the RSFSR (1991). Born in the village. Wrestler from the Moscow region. Graduated from the State Art University (1950-1954) and the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute (in absentia) (1959-1964). Painter and graphic artist. Works in the genre of urban landscape. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1985. Since 1960, he has been a regular participant in regional exhibitions. Exhibitor of zonal ("Big Volga", 1974, 1980, 1986, 1998, 2003), all-Union (watercolors, Minsk, 1974; teachers of art schools Moscow, 1978), all-Russian "Soviet Russia", 1980. art exhibitions. Personal exhibitions: N. Novgorod: 1994, 2000(2); Bor, Arzamas, Uren, Ardatov, Vetluga. He taught at the State Art University (1962-2002).
