Artamonova Olga Sergeevna (1926 - 2006)

Soviet sculptor and artist. In 1954 she graduated from the Moscow Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts. Since the 1950s, he has participated in all-Union, republican and international exhibitions. From 1955 to 1964 she worked as a sculptor at the Dmitrov Porcelain Factory in Verbilki. In her work, Artamonova often turned to dance - folk and classical, solo and group - she created a number of original sculptures of dancing people. The author's works are presented in the collections of the State Russian Museum, Kuskovo Museum of Ceramics, Gorky Art Museum, Perm Art Gallery, Oryol Art Gallery, as well as in private collections.
