Soviet, Russian sculptor and ceramicist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1958. People's Artist of the USSR (1991). Laureate of the State Prize of the RSFSR named after. I. E. Repin (1978). In 1949 she entered the Moscow Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov, from where she transferred to the sculpture department of the Moscow Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (MIPIDI). In 1953 she transferred to the Moscow Higher Art and Industrial School named after S.G. Stroganov. In 1954, after completing her studies, she began working as an artist-sculptor at the Turygin Art Ceramics Factory of the Gzhel cooperative artel “Art Ceramics”. From 1960 to 1972, she was the main artist of the Art Ceramics plant. Since 1972, she has been the leading artist of the Gzhel association, where she worked for 48 years and created more than 600 works. The author's works are presented in Russian museums, as well as in private collections.
