Baganov Nikolay Stepanovich (born 1929)

Soviet sculptor. Member of the Union of Artists of the RSFSR. Honored Artist of the RSFSR. Since the 1950s, he has participated in republican and all-Union exhibitions. The author of many sculptural works, including monuments to V.I. Lenin, G.K. Zhukov, M.V. Frunze, A.V. Suvorov and others. Among the sculptor’s works is a monument to Yuri Gagarin, installed in Sochi.
