Jewelry company “F.A. Laurier" was founded in 1871 by Anton-Agille Laurier. After his death in 1888, the family business was continued by the founder’s son, Fyodor Antonovich Lorie. In 1910, the factory employed twenty-two workers, and the annual turnover was twenty-five thousand rubles. In 1885, a company store was opened in house No. 4 of the Merchant Society on Kuznetsky Most. In the same building there was a Faberge store. In 1916, the company came into the possession of Alexei Ivanovich Sokolov, and in 1917 it ceased to exist.
