Panov Gennady Pavlovich

Sculptor, native of the Chelyabinsk region. Graduated from the Saratov Art School (1954). Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1967). The area of ​​creativity is sculptural plastic of small forms. In the 1960s–1970s. worked a lot and fruitfully for the artistic casting of the South Ural factories. At the Kusinsky plant, according to his models, the following were cast in cast iron: the group “Footballers” (1966), the figurines “Girl with Grapes” (1963), “Girl with a Watering Can” (1974), “Girl with Pigeons” (1974). At the Kasli plant, based on his models in cast iron, the following were produced: the sculpture “Young Cosmonaut-Dreamer” (“Young Dreamer”, “Boy with a Rocket”, 1957), figurines “Boy with Pigeons” (circa 1960), “Boy with a Net” (1961), “Girl with a Watering Can” (1962), “Boy Inflating a Ball” (1963), “Petka the Football Player” (1965), etc.
