Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1969). In 1926 he began working at the Faience Factory named after. M.I. Kalinin in Konakovo. In 1934 he founded and directed the art laboratory of the plant. In the 1960s he worked with art glass and collaborated with a factory in Gus-Khrustalny. I. G. Frikh-Khar was a member of the “United Art” group (since 1925), the Society of Easel Painters (since 1926), the Society of Russian Sculptors (since 1926), and the “Brigade of Sculptors” (“Brigade of Eight”) association. He participated in the exhibitions “Artists of the RSFSR for 15 years”, “15 years of the Red Army”, at the World Exhibition in Paris (1937) and later in many all-Union and republican exhibitions. His works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Museum of Ceramics in Kuskovo, and the State Historical Museum in Moscow.
