* Korosten porcelain factory. (1909)

The history of the plant begins in 1909. The enterprising Pole A.K. Przhibylsky founded a factory for the production of earthenware and porcelain. At first, the factory produced only “linen” - white, unpainted dishes. Then it was packed into barrels, they were loaded into wagons and taken to Poland to be painted. The company specializes in the production of tableware - expensive sets and plates. In 1917 the factory was nationalized and closed in 1918. During the war the plant was destroyed. The plant, restored from ruins, produced its first products on May 1, 1944. The main type of production was tableware and sculpture until the 1960s. hasn't made much of a difference yet. Then the pace of production increases, the plant begins producing fireplace sets, fireplaces, decorative vases and sculptures. He had international awards. The sculptor V. Yatsevich successfully worked on small sculptures here in Soviet times. She graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Painting. Creates a series of animalistic figures. Another sculptor, V. Tregubova, who graduated from the Lvov Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts, prepared a series “Dances of the Peoples of the USSR” for the World Festival of Youth and Students in Moscow. Her compositions are popular among collectors: “Ditties” (accordion player and two dancing girls), figures “Carmen”, “Solokha”, “A Pair of Hip Hop Photographers”. In 1994, JSC Korostensky Porcelain was created on the basis of the plant. The company produces porcelain products for cultural and household purposes and souvenirs.
