Nadezhda Vasilievna Krandievskaya graduated from the sculpture department of the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in 1916. In 1912 she went to Paris, where she studied in the workshop of the sculptor Bourdelle. In the 1930s, Nadezhda Krandievskaya created a series of sculptures of revolutionary figures - Budyonny, Furmanov, Chapaev and Demyan Bedny. In 1940–1950, she completed a number of sculptural portraits of famous actors, writers and other cultural figures. Participant in exhibitions of the Union of Russian Artists, "World of Arts", Zhar Tsvet", ORS, AHR, anniversary exhibitions of the Red Army. The works of N. V. Krandievskaya are presented in the Central Museum of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (formerly the Museum of the Red Army), the Central Museum of Contemporary History of Russia (formerly the Museum of the Revolution).
